The event will be held in accordance with UIM rules, national rules, specific regulations
by the organizer and navigational code.

Race instructions will be given upon registration and/or at drivers briefing
Fuel
98E fuel can purchase from marine station at Förby harbour.
Launching
Depot and boat launching at Förby harbour.
Race cource
According to the map enclosed.
Laporders will be give at race instructions. Race lenghts:
August 15th 3C about 78 nm, other classes about 66 nm.
August 16th All classes about 46 nm.
Storm course
Storm course is shortened course, which will be given at drivers briefing.
Protest fee
Protest fee is 80 €.
Prizes
Prizes consist of trophies.
Förby Race 2009
Safety
· The Race committee can not be held responsible for any incident nor any personal or
other damage during the competition or training.
· The choice and efficiency of a racing vest and the helmet is the sole responsibility of
the wearer.
Insurance
Each competitor must produce evidence of current Third Party Liability Insurance providing
indemnity for minimum 350 000 € in case of personal injury and 170 000 € in case of
damage to property.
Advertising
Advertising tobacco and alcohol beverages is prohibited by the Law of Finland (and the
competitors are therefore not allowed to advertise them). The organizer reserves the right
to attach stickers to participating boats.
